OSAGE SHIELD

I’ve never liked the Osage shield on the Oklahoma flag. It always look like a big plate of color barf from a distance.

Up close Mrs. Louise Funk Fluke’s homage to the Osage people is beautiful. However, when viewed at a distance or used on something small like a badge the image quickly loses its visual integrity.

I solved both issues by designing my version of the Osage shield using thicker lines to illustrate its features. This new version holds up nicely at a distance and on things like this patch.
